8 people hurt after car hits bus in Brooklyn

Authorities reported that six passengers and the driver of a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus driving in Red Hook, Brooklyn, were injured in a collision on Oct. 22 at 5:50 p.m. According to witness reports, a black Toyota Camry ran a stop sign, colliding with the front of the bus.

2 workers injured after ceiling collapse

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating an incident in New York where a ceiling collapsed and trapped two environmental cleaning workers who were prepping the building for asbestos removal. Reports state that asbestos filled the air when a large piece of concrete from the ceiling trapped the two men on Oct. 17.
