NYC accident kills woman and injures 9

A road traffic accident involving a sedan, an SUV and a box truck claimed the life of 53-year-old New York City woman and left nine others injured on the morning of May 26 according to a report from the NYPD. Seven of those injured were children. The accident occurred at the intersection of 130th Street and South Conduit Avenue in Queens.

The most dangerous days to drive in New York

New York drivers will likely not be surprised to learn that accident rates increase sharply on New Year's Day and St. Patrick's Day. Alcohol consumption is closely associated with these two holidays, and more drunk drivers on the road will usually lead to more motor vehicle collisions.
